Amsterdam COLOR contest [closed]

To celebrate our brand new website (yes, this one!) we are hosting our biggest contest yet! On this page you can find everything you need to know regarding rules, submissions, prizes and more. Want to join? Keep reading!

What do you need to do?

Your task is to create a mainly monochrome acrylic painting which highlights the color of one of the categories below. “Mainly” monochrome means that your artwork must highlight one certain color, but it can still have small accent colors. Using black and white in the painting is also okay!

What are the categories?

There are 5 categories in which you can submit an artwork. Each week will have a separate winner.

What can you win?

Each of the 5 winners will win an Amsterdam backpack filled with goodies such as: paint tubes, mediums, brushes, and more!
This image is only an impression of what the winners will receive. The actual contents of the bag will be a surprise.

Submissions will be open from October 1st till October 30th. You can email a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 4 clear photos of your artwork to amsterdam@royaltalens.com. Please include “Amsterdam COLOR contest” in the subject line. You can get started on your artwork right now!

You can also post your artwork on social media but your submission will only be official when submitted by email! If you post on social, don't forget to tag us (@amsterdamacrylics) and use the hashtag #amsterdamcolorcontest

When will the winners be announced?

The winners will be announced all throughout November. Each saturday, a new winner will be revealed, following the order of the categories as posted above.

@amsterdamacrylics is the only account that will contact you about this contest. We will never ask you to click a link when contacting you about this contest.

Rules & guidelines

You can join as many categories as you wish and may submit as many artworks as you like. However, you can only win once.
All styles and techniques are welcome!
The painting can be any size or shape.
The painting should be acrylic, but the use of mediums is no problem.
The painting should mainly be made with Amsterdam products.
Questions may be asked in DMs on our Instagram account.
